  • Scotsmen of the Carolinas is a Social Club

According to Collins Dictionary, "A social club is a club where members go in order to meet each other and enjoy leisure activities." In order to accomplish this, members are expected to host events in their area. All members should be active members.

  • Does Scotsmen of the Carolinas participate in the Games?

This is our most asked question. We participate in Gallabrae at Furman University in Travelers Rest, SC, Asheville Celtic Festival at the WNC AG Center in Fletcher, NC, and The Upstate Renaissance Festival in Greer, SC, annually. If you are an official for any of the games in the Carolinas or you have a contact, we would love to participate in as many as possible. As membership in our group is free, we do not have the funds to pay to participate. However, if asked to participate for free, we would love to do so, provided we have members who are willing to volunteer. Our first booth was September 10th, 2022 at the 2nd annual Upstate Renaissance Faire.
